A silver lining to a bad housing market! The CT Lowe's new house is AWESOME! They were able to get right into one of the best areas of town. There house can best be described as a compound on 8 acres complete with garden, shed, stream, swimming pond, playground, horse shoe court and lots and lots of trees. They were able to take advantage of a poor housing market and got an unbelievable deal! We had an all day cookout there on Saturday. Uncle Chris made his famous wings and ribs in the afternoon, we had lobsters for dinner and Aunt Ellen made a homemade strawberry rhubarb pie for dessert! For old times sake Daddy whipped Uncle Chris's butt in several games of pool, but Uncle Chris beat Daddy thoroughly at horseshoes. The kids (especially Josh) had fun on the slip-n-slide!
