Well...Sarah was only sick twice her whole first year, now she has been sick twice in the last month. She had a pretty bad ear infection, fever, etc... last week. Then on top of that Mommy was sick in bed all weekend. But things are getting back to normal today. Its kind of funny how you don't realize how being sick affects your kid, until they start feeling better, it is like night and day. Sarah is still a little extra sleepy, but today she went back to her one 1-2 hour midday nap and made it all the way to bed time (7pm) without fussing. Again updates are too numerous to list, but here are just a few. She is doing headstands, balancing on just her head and feet in a "tripod" position, she is starting to run, she loves to push her wagon all around the cul-de-sac and puts her stuffed animals in for rides, she (finally!)loves her PBK chair, that we bought her before she was born, as can be seen in the video. She also loves to watch Elmo and Sesame Street clips on YouTube with Daddy. But her favorite of all time is the Hot Diggity Dog song from Mickey's Playhouse, we must have watched that, no exaggeration, at least 100 times so far. Her vocabulary is also growing exponentially. She lets us know when we get a word right, by smiling ear to ear and squealing with joy. Like if she is saying "more" and we put more in from of her, conversely, she lets out little high pitched moans/grunts when we are not understanding her. On and on...I digress.
Jake and Sarah have really grown to like each other. Sarah feeds Jake scraps and takes wet wipes and cleans Jake off. She also picks up his empty frosty paw cups and walks them to the trash can. No matter what Sarah is doing if Jake barks, she stops immediately and goes looking for him. When Jake has had enough, he goes and climbs up on the bed and lays right in the center. Anyway that is all for now. Hopefully we will get some more up this week for everyone to enjoy. Updated favorite foods. This video is pretty good, she was rolling with laughter, which of course stopped as soon as the video cam came out.
