Florida Aquarium

Daddy took Friday off and the fam headed to Tampa to visit the FL Aquarium. We had a great time. The aquarium is so kid friendly (ranked in top 5 kid friendly in the US), and it was a good thing because there must have been a million kids there! They have a huge outdoor splash park and playground too. Of course the first thing we did there (in typical Lowe fashion) was eat; after Sarah was in her glory, running everywhere. She has no social inhibitions so she would tag along with whatever group of kids was near. Kids are so nice to each other, the older kids would invite her to play with them and be sure to include her, it is so sweet to watch. Sarah's favorite was the turtles, they would come swimming by her and she would clap for them, she must have sat on the rocks and watched them for ten minutes. Sarah is VERY independent. She goes where she wants to go, the old "Mommy and Daddy are going this way" routine is futile. She will calmly watch us, then she will turn the way she wants to go (usually the opposite from us) and off she goes, like "see you later". Typically that is followed by Daddy chasing after her...When we finally put our foot down it usually means a little tantrum, but Mommy and Daddy stand firm so it only usually lasts a minute or two. Plus we don't put our foot down too often, Sarah is a great kid.
