Sarah the Explorer

Ok. It has been a while again. Sorry but time has just gotten away from us. Sarah is leaping and bounding from one milestone to the next. She has gone from eating barley any baby food to eating almost all solid food. Her accomplishments include: scrambled eggs, fruit cocktail, waffles, hot dogs, chicken, peas and carrots, nilla wafers, etc... She feeds herself, we just put it in front of her and away she goes. The only bad thing she has a habit of squirreling away food in her cheeks and forgetting to swallow. She has also taken to a sippy cup (sort of), we have found that lemonade works wonders for getting her to put the effort into mastering it. We are down to only 2 bottles a day on most days! Sarah has also gotten amazingly good at walking behind her walker. She can now negotiate turns, get into and out of every room of our house and she can go REALLY fast. She has this new found attitude that the world is hers. Other new things include learning how to give, she gives things to others now, like Goldfish, toys, stuffed animals etc. How to feed Jake (by dropping food on the floor and then looking over the edge and laughing). She has also learned how to point, if we point at her she points right back at us! She really is amazing! Here are a few pictures from some of her adventures this morning before we headed out to see the Easter Bunny.
