For those who don't know, Church is a important part of the Lowe Family's life. We were very fond of our Church in Virginia and our group of friends we had made there and it was sad to leave when we moved to Florida. Well, it has taken us some time but we have finally settled on our "new" church. In the past year we have tried 8 different churches, from Methodist to Baptist to Interdenominational and some in between. We have been to some just once, others for several months and some intermittently throughout the year.
After several heartfelt discussions, a lot of prayer, and a little guidance from the Good Lord himself, we have decided that First Baptist of Orlando is the place for us. We are relieved and excited to put this saga behind us and really begin to bring our Church back into the center of our lives. We have decided to postpone Sarah's baptism as we both felt is was important to do it in our Church rather than just a Church. First Baptist actually does Parent Commitment services and the next one just happens to be on Mother's Day! What a special way to celebrate.
For all those that have helped us along the way, with suggestions and support, we sincerely thank you. The last year has been quite an experience and we have met so many wonderful people. It is nice to look back and realize it was all part of God's plan.
