Daddy took the day off today and the fam went to a Red Sox spring training game at Disney Wide World of Sports. What a great place! We had really good seats. Dice-K pitched the first 5 innings and almost all the regulars were playing. Sox lost in 10 innings, but we got to see New England folk hero Rocco Balducci hit a 2 run homer to tie the game, the place went crazy might as well of been at Fenway! Ironically, we forgot a hat for Sarah so we had to buy her an Atlanta Braves sun hat, several Lowes turned over in their graves this afternoon.
Sarah as usual was a trooper, she spent almost two hours in the Baby Bjorn (Mommy too for that matter, it was hot!). We sat in the upper deck, so Mommy had to negotiate stadium stairs with a 23lb baby strapped to her chest! Sarah's favorite part was the music, especially music with a good beat, she was clapping along with the crowd to all the usual stadium songs, it was a real trip. We left the game a little early to beat the rush and it worked out great. Daddy is feeling a little under the weather today so it was nice to get home a little early and relax! Mommy and Sarah had such a good time we are planning a trip to Tampa to see the Sox and Devil Rays once the season gets started.
The shadows played havoc on our picture efforts, and Daddy and Sarah were not their photogenic selves but Mommy was gorgeous as usual!
