Yesterday we spent the whole day at Busch Gardens in Tampa. It is a great park! We liked it better than Animal Kingdom. The park was empty! It was almost like we had the whole place to ourselves. We had so much fun that we took over 100 pictures, so we made a slide show with highlights rather than trying to pick the best few. Here are some highlights and notes from our trip yesterday.
- Sarah needed a new hat, Mommy found her an official Busch Gardens safari hat, which she proudly wore all day.
- Trust us...standing 4 feet away from a 50 mile per hour roller coaster, WILL scare your nine month old.
- Sarah really seemed to enjoy everything, but her favorite was probably the choo choo train ride. Unlike most kids, she seems to like noise, the louder the choo choo got the happier Sarah got.
- Daddy's favorite animals are Great Apes and Hippos (they can grow up to 9,900lbs!)
- Mommy's favorite animals are the Lions
- Sarah went on 3 rides yesterday, a thrill seeker in the making (we even got a video, see next post)
- Flamingos are VERY stinky birds
- The "stilt animals" were a huge hit with the whole fam
- Even a fender bender on I-4 can be disastrous (2 hours to get home!)
