We loaded up the fam and headed to Animal Kingdom yesterday. Grammy & Grampy Lowe are visiting from CT. We had a really nice time. But all being said and done, we all decided that Animal Kingdom is our least favorite of the parks. Way too much walking and way too spread out. Not to mention they closed at 5pm! But we were together and we still had a great time. Highlights include:
- A ride on the Kilimanjaro Safari
- A Choo Choo train ride
- The petting zoo (Sarah loved the goats!)
- Lunch at the Rain Forest Cafe'
- Meeting Jimmy Cricket, Pocahontas and a whole bunch of characters we didn't know from the Lion King and Madagascar (we think?)
- And walking...lots of walking!
On a different note, Apples to Apples continues to be a smash hit. We have played every night since Grammy and Grampy arrived. We highly recommend it to anyone who likes games of any sort. Thanks to the Lister's for introducing us to it!Lots of fun stuff planned for the next few days, keep checking back!
