Happy July!

Happy belated 4th of July to everyone! Sorry it's been so long, but what can we say...we've been busy! Daddy was off work Friday so we took the opportunity to go to EPCOT (yes we know it was 4th of July weekend, yes we know there was going to be a million people, yes we are crazy). As usual we enjoyed ourselves very much. Sarah made all sorts of new friends, danced with the Mariachi's, played the bongo drums, talked to Nemo and his pals the Dolphins etc, etc... Mommy and Sarah collected a whole bunch of the Kidcot tags from the different countries. Daddy unfortunately was battling a pretty bad cold and was mostly just plain hot the whole day but still enjoyed himself nonetheless. Sarah decided to take a nice long nap shortly after arriving at the park, so Mommy and Daddy got to enjoy some of the different exhibits that would not have been very interesting to a 1 year old with what seems like Wile E. Coyote rockets in her shoes. Sarah has exhaustive energy and is not a big "lets sit still" for 10 seconds and look at something type of gal. As for Sarah updates, she is in full molar mode with her teething. She is taking it in stride for the most part, a little fussy in the evenings, but Tylenol and vanilla ice cream seem to do the trick. We have about 7 teethers that we put out for her every night on the counter, she will sit there and study each one carefully deliberating as to which two she will bring to bed with her. She is very careful with her choices and takes it very seriously. She has also learned that cursor on the computer screen is somehow connected to the mouse in her hand, so we will sit her in the computer chair in the den and she will entertain herself with the mouse forever. Other new discoveries include fans and Mommy's makeup brushes. Most impressive is her growing vocabulary! Words we can clearly understand now include: pool, ball, Jake, hi, bath, mama, daddy, up, shoe and Elmo. There are also several others that we can't quite make out yet. Finally updated favorite foods, not too many changes. Lots of posts to follow! Have a great week!
