Sarah started her Safe Start swimming program yesterday. It is a program we saw on the news that teaches kids as young as six months what to do if they were to fall into a pool. It is pretty amazing stuff, what they can teach the kids to do. It is a one on one, six week program, five days a week, but the lessons are only 10 minutes each!! So Laci and Sarah have to be at the Y every morning at 9am for 10 minutes, kind of a pain in the butt, but worth the hassle. Sarah's teacher is really great, she said Sarah is a natural and that she is really calm in the water. She probably says that to all the parents, but still nice to hear. Before we left home for the first lesson Daddy got her all "limbered up" and into her sweatsuit, while listening to Rocky music. During the lesson Mommy and Daddy were like the Sarah pep squad, clapping and cheering from the side of the pool. After the lesson Mommy got in the water with Sarah and they had a great time!
