Another week in the life

Some updates.

Sarah had her 2nd round of shots Monday morning, she took them like a champ. But there is a national shortage of one of the vaccines so we have to bring her back in as soon as they get some in to finish her second round. The doctor said she was "perfect". She weighed in at 18.8lbs (97%), she was 27 inches tall (97%) and her head was also in the 97%. The doc said she is a proportionally big baby and that everything looked great. We have to put her in 9 mos sleepers, all her others are too short in the legs and she busts out of them. Sarah has been battling a cold since Sunday, and she has been pretty miserable, she can't breath out of her nose which you can tell frustrates her. It is threatening our third attempt at the beach this weekend.
Daddy's work has finally settled down a little bit, thank god. Laci decided not to have a playgroup this week because of Sarah's cold, better safe than sorry. Next week we will be in Virginia so the next one won't be until Oct 10th, but I am sure it will be grand just like the last one was.

Jake is finally starting to accept Sarah is here to stay, we prop her up on him and he just sits there and takes it. Sarah is absolutely enamored with him. But he is regressing into puppy hood. Ever since we moved to Florida he has had little interest in any of his toys, until 3 days ago. Now he takes them out and leaves them all over the house. He also uses them as barter for bones and frosty paws, and because of our guilt he usually gets what he wants. Here is a pic of him trying to get some of Dad's breakfast.

This morning we went in to get Sarah and found that she had pulled her crib buddy down off the bars to which it was velcro-ed and was having a conversation with him while hugging him. She is definitely something else.

Anyway, just an update on this week. Enjoy the pictures. More to come this weekend.
